This Region in Canada includes the provinces of Newfoundland and Labrador, P.E.I., Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and part of Quebec called the Gaspe peninsula. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean which greatly affects its climate.
In this region they use resources such as forestry, mining, and fishing. Forestry and fishing are from examples that the first settlers here set. Mining in this area produces iron ore, lead, gold, copper, and coal.
